become a barrister

i am trying to apply for my bar, and oh my goodness it has taken forever, and now i have just realised i should applied before hand for a scholarship….....
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

so confused dont know what to do, whether i should wait another year or just go and do it and get myself even more into debt with bank and family?

I don’t actually want to practise, I just want to get admitted. I got half way there and then got distracted by other things. Now I feel like a non-finisher.

had 3 pupillage interview-kepp everthing crossed!

100% going to so the BVC now (unless i dont get a 2:1) as I got a scholarship from Middle Temple – how cool is that! they’re giving me about half my fees which means I will still have to borrow about 12k for the other half and to live off :-( I’m sooo happy – just feel like sombody has a bit of faith in me making it at the bar (2 barristers and a judge to be precise!) I’m so excited!!!!

1 more mini-pupillage to add to the list, now this makes me feel happy-which i can add to my other list!

IM ONTO THE bvc programme and have been accepted for 3 mini-pupillages so far, with another requesting me to apply for pupillage#

advice to all those aspiring lawyers out there – do it spend the time put in the ffort cos sometimes it pays off!

20 more next week

then start on the full pupillage dealio

im so frustrated with this whole process of applying

there are not enough hours in the day

went really well, now applicaiton time. its soooooooooooooooo stressful….

im going down from durham with the hope of obtaining pupillage or at least mini-pupillage

its so tough for a non oxbridge, non first, northern, female

i will do it, i am as good as the rest, i will be successful (and rich)
