Anyone out there in Flin Flon, Manitoba that can offer me some tips? :)

its in a remote place somewhere in Mozambique – I can’t even find it on google maps. I really must find out more about it.

It was a random stop during my parents’ life. My dad was going to graduate school, and they stayed there long enough to graduate before moving back to the Pacific Northwest. I was eight months old when they left. It may not be the most exotic destination, but I’ve always wanted to go back. I have no memories of Appleton, and I’d like to have a vision of where I started my life.

I want to visit Balikpapan, Indonesia. It’s where I was born. It’s a very nice city. the poeple is soooo warm over there. the houses and the fields are huge. I really love it, but I didn’t stay there for a long time. I moved to jakarta when I was 5 years old.
And now, I am living in San Francisco, it’s very faaaar away from Balikpapan. After I finish my college, I really want to go back there. Love Balikpapan..love Indonesia..love San Francisco Bay too =)

I was born in California. 2 months later my parents split and my mom ended up moving back to her home state… New Jersey. I’ve been farther west than Chicago, and would love to see were part of my identity lies…

While my dad was stationed at Baumholder, Germany with the U.S. Army, I was born in a nearby military hospital in Landstuhl. I want to go back and see the sights and ponder the distance I’ve gone to get there.
