read a classic and actually like it

Read many classics and have liked most of them. Always something to learn.

I agree with zedazorro, Jane Eyre is one of the classics I adored. Wuthering Heights is another one of my favorites.

I particularly like Thomas Hardy, and in the right mood, I can even get into Henry James.

i read wuthering heights,pride n prejudice, women in love, the scarlet letter… n many more. cant remeber the titles. but mostly those famous ones.
surprisingly, for a chic lit lover, i enjoyed these classics.

Tess of the D’urbavilles, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jane Eyre, mostly the tragic ones.

Pride and Prejudice, War and Peace, Crime and Punishment, Sense and Sensibility, Oliver Twist, A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations….

Some I enjoyed, off the top of my head:
The Blithedale Romance
Great Expectations and Oliver Twist
The Age of Innocence, Ethan Frome and The House of Mirth
Sister Carrie
The Good Earth

You’ll probably never read anything else. I love Hemmingway, Fitzgerald, Lolita, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, 1984, Brave New World, etc etc.

Such as “1984”, for instance. Or “The Master and Margarita”.
