my whole life i have been helpin people, it started with my family and it led to my friends and then to people i didnt even know anything about or even knew. its something about helping people that makes me feel good inside. it makes me feel better to help others than do things for myself, when i see an homeless person on the side of the road i give them money so they can buy something to eat or drink, i know the world is hard and i see tv and see how the rest of the world has it and in the united states we have clean water, stores, electricty and they have to walk miles down the road just to get a pale of water for their family, i dont have any money but i want to go to help i would be so honered and more than happy to go to a third world country to help people please dont say no i have always wanted to do this
How to volunteer in a third world country
How I did it: I searched volunteer organizations, and found World Hope International which is located in Alexandria, Virginia. They have their opportunities on their website, which range from 1-2 weeks up to a year. They have volunteer jobs for people from any background, and they're located all over the world. Currently, there are listings for Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Zambia, Nicaragua, Indonesia, and lots more.
Lessons & tips: One piece of advice - know as much as you can about who you'll be
working with, and how their program works. It would be better to work
for someone who has had their program up and working for at least 2
years. Then when you get there, you can get right to work! I highly
recommend doing this. You will learn so much about people in other
parts of the world. And you will definitely appreciate everything you
have a lot more!
Don't rule out getting a short-term job overseas rather than volunteering. You have a steady income, and some jobs with UNICEF, World Vision, and World Relief are for a year or less.

After i become i licensed doctor, I want to/will volunteer my services all over the world in other less fortunate contries, like Mexico, Africa, South America, and less fortunate areas in the US as well.
My partner is a Captain in the Military and we collectively want to help in any way we can. We both are very busy with work, children, sports, etc but I feel this decision to be of utmost importance as my heart is overwhelmed with such depervation in this world, especially with children as I am a mother myself and simply couldn’t imagine such hunger and pain that they have to endure on a daily basis. So with that said I am going to make it my goal for us to retire with helping others and make a difference
for the last two years all ive been thinking is that i want to be a Volunteer in a third world country. I want to help people, and especially kids if i can. I just dont know from where to start.

I only volunteered in Guatemala for three weeks, but a whole lifetime wouldn’t be enough. It broke my heart, but the amazing people there mended it! The most eye-opening experience I’ve ever had.
Unfortunately I am really busy with soccer and school most of the time, but I would love to try this.
