I’m specifically interested in Columbia University, which has a great international social work program (one of very few international programs), but I’m going about this with an open mind. I’m interested in development work, IDPs, and stateless people. I have two years of Peace Corps service ahead to plan the next step in my education!

I just graduated with my BSW and I’m realizing more and more how important the MSW-LCSW are. I’m trying to find a job that will help me pay for it first, but that hasn’t happened yet. :(

Graduation is officially May 13th at 2pm. I’m gonna get there and then do the licensure thing. Hey, that’s another thing to add to my list I guess. Always nice to get letters added after my name and particularly nice to already be getting snail mail spam about doing my PhD!
Just three weeks left. That’s one project and 5 papers.
so now the question is…do I do one year in the states becuase of advanced standing…or two years abroad…hmmm
I’m applying early decision to the smith school of social work, everybody cross their fingers!!!
I have my AA in general studies, and I start at UMBC at the end of August. Two years to get my BSW. Then another year to get my MSW.
