Being someone’s muse is, surprisingly, very very sad…at least it was for me. I would say it’s a good thing to have happen, it helps you see how others view you. I was a poet’s muse…three of them actually. The most dedicated of them, however, is also the most recent, and it was and still is a very depressing and hard situation. It’s very difficult to read something that moves you, and know that you made it happen. It’s happy, but it’s also very very sad…
This is such a fantasy of mine. I would absolutely love to be someone’s muse. Maybe it’s all my imagination or maybe we’ve been feed to much about how great it is…but I think it’d be enchanting!
...perhaps a curse instead. There is something quite terrifying about seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes.
My boyfriend told me I was his muse a couple of weeks ago! I told him about my list on 43things and he said, “Well, then go cross it off because you’ve done it.” Hopefully I’ll continue to be inspiring!
I feel honored to be a muse. I inspire someone to create beautiful works of art just by being myself. I never thought I was particular special until I met my artist.
He is my “Boyfriend” and a photographer and I have been called a “his muse” many times :-)

for writers. Maybe it was for the wrong people, as they seemed to all think they were so clever in choosing me, and seemed to want to make me a damsel in distress in their writings. I didn’t like seeing myself in roles I avoid in real life… Maybe it was worth the experience to better understand what I don’t want out of life.
