A good time was had by all, we didn’t sit down and danced the whole of the last two sets and I know everyone was watching but did I care not at all.

Thursdays entertainment was a blast, drank way too much went to Mines Rescue on Friday morning feeling seedy, Friday afternoon saw me start the weekend at 2 pm at the beaches carrying onto DV8 in the evening.

The highlight of Thursday apart from the band who were exceptional was Kenny and his home made shirt, which I ended up buying off him for 2 bourbons.

This Thursday Loona-Loop play at my local it should be a good night I don’t mind electronica and don’t often get to see it played live, I think the last bit of near electronica would have been Crazy Penis at the Cambridge last year. Friday its back to rock with DV8 also at my local.

I am looking forward to both nights and I am sure I’ll get up and boogie.

I love to just close my eyes and just move. I love feeling the music and just flowing with it. I’ve studied mostly musical theater and jazz dance. I teach bellydance, jazz, and modern. I have studied west african, afro cuban, ballet (beginning), modern, horton tech, jazz, musical theater, hip hop. I began really getting into it when I attended IU bloomington and I haven’t stopped. I moved to chicago and began auditioning for several performances and groups. I danced professionally with a couple (modern and hip hop) I’m moving to LA so don’t be surprised if you seem me behind Ciara yup that’s me!!!

Having saw crazy penis a week or so ago, It was supprising to be able to see another electronica band so soon I wasnt dissappointed, even if everyone else there was thinking “What The”, electronica is not exactly big around Caves Beach / Newcastle I say bring it on.

Working a weekend roster sucks, I like to be able to go out listen to live music and support some local acts and venues.
Newcastle has a suprising assortment of very tallented bands / performers. One of my favorites being Ami Vee. I have a collection of CD’s bought at various pubs around newcastle that support original music and should share the best of the with the world ill work on a page at
