and the five year-old decided she wanted to start a new tradition.
After all of the decorations were hung we had to, according to the 5 year old, stand around the tree, hold hands and sway, with all other lights off. After all of us, myself, the two kiddo’s and my husband swayed for a few moments, we had to pray. Then practice our bows and curtsy’s then do it all over after it had been rehearsed.
So we sway for a few, then we pray, then we take our bow and curtsy. She wan’t to do this every night. I do believe we will!

Isn’t it amazing how children grow, and grow, and grow? Emotionally, physically, and socially? I bought my five year-old a leapster about two weeks ago. It is almost as if I cannot get her off of it. She loves it sooooo much.
This morning she said, “Mom, you spell pause P-A-U-S-E.” (of course this was from the Leapster.) Oh, she’s only five! I just hugged her and hugged her and told her how brilliant she was.
She is amazing.

‘technically’ they are not mine. They are foster children. They need love and acceptance. Any child who goes into the ‘system’ you know has some type of unsavory back ground and pre-learned behaviors.
Every child, regardless of their back ground needs love. These children have completed my world for the time being. No matter how long they stay, weeks, or for the rest of their lives, they are precious to me today.
