I saved $3 at Target. Is there something about Target that makes me think of coupons? lol. $26 saved for the year.

Well, I thought about this goal today at Target.I went through my coupon book and found one coupon that I could maybe use if I switched brads. Turns out Target didn’t have the couponed brand. I also threw away a hill of coupons. Apparently, I’m slacking on this goal. Will do better.
I used two coupons at Kroger today—$6 saved. I also asked some questions and found that they give .03 off your purchase for each reusable bag you use. I used .03. Also, I paid attention to how much things cost and read my receipt and was therefore able to call them on being charged $1 too much on a Jimmy Dean breakfast product. That resulted in a $5 refund (for a $5.99 product). A medication also rung up wrong, which would have cost me about $3.50 if I wasn’t paying attention. I’ll say I saved $11 on groceries today. I’ll make this goal complete when I’ve either saved $100 for the year or consistently used coupons for a year. This brings me to $22 for the year.
Prior to going to the grocery store, I organized my new coupon book. I also went through the coupons on the table and clipped. That resulted in my getting $1 off my Jimmy Dean product. Come to think of it, I got those sandwiches for free. They cost $5.99. I had a $1 off coupon- 4.99. Because they wrung up wrong, I got $5 back. Total cost to me: 0. Those are the kind of shopping stories I like to hear. This is probably a first for me. Yea!
Also, I bought a new coupon book today. My last one basically fell in multiple pieces. I couldn’t find a new book the first time I tried but they had some in Target’s dollar bins today.
I am faithful in using coupons to get less expensive pizza. I’ve never thought about it before but I seriously search my house, e-mail, and websites for best deals when it comes to pizza. I probably saved like $7 Friday night on my dinner.
I saved $3 on lunch and $1 at the grocery store this week. I took to begging people to give me coupons. One person pointed out that I can print them online. I’m gonna have to check into that.
ButtercupSam is inspired!
I did buy a coupon organizer and got the coupons seperated. I did, however, have to discard of several expired coupons that I oculd have used. Money down the drain!
I got a $1 off some toilet cleaner at target. They sent me a coupon. I tried a new product. It works for me.
