start a DVD collection of TV shows

I have all the series I watch and I could get in french in DVD: 7 seasons of Buffy, 5 seasons of Angel, 2 seasons of Dark Angel, 1 season of Firefly, 1st season of Smallville, 1st and 3rd season of Dead Zone, 3rd and 4th season of Charmed. And I plan to buy others. Loll!!

So far, I have the first seasons of The Simpsons, Arrested Development, and Scrubs. Waiting for Lost to come to DVD starts…now. Argh it’s a long way to September, isn’t it?

Yes, they’re pricey, but so is cable or satellite tv. Watch what you want, when you want, over and over and over. Watch an entire season in 2 days- immediate gratification is a good thing. ( Though waiting for the dvds to come out is not.)
