My mom passed this book down to me and I loved it! I’m not religious at all and don’t know the story of Jacob, but I enjoyed the book :)

A friend loaned this to me and she was right – I really liked it. Something really different. I also read “Zipporah” by the same author, but I liked “The Red Tent” better.

If you are Christian, you probably know the story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. Here is the story told from the womens’ point of view. I liked the book so much I read it twice!
