As part of a program called Global Perspectives (please visit: http://www.globalperspectivescanada.com ), I will be with a group of high school students, teachers and dentists going to a small town in Paraguay to build a classroom and a hospice as humanitarioan work.
How to go to paraguay
How I did it: Took a year off right after graduating high school, planned a two month trip to South America which would start with a humanitarian trip to Paraguay. I was a volunteer with a program called Global Perspectives.

Oh my gosh, Paraguay is the best everrr! Our missions trip went over amazingly and we had so much fun. I have fallen in love with reggaeton and the Paraguayians dance like no other! Guarana… peach juice… terere. I love it all!
I really hope I get to go back to Paraguay someday. I definitely recommend it. And it was such a breeze getting there and getting a visa. It’s a nice place to visit with such beautiful people. Como te quiero Paraguay!
I handed in my first payment for the Paraguay missions trip. And it looks like I’m going!
Man, I am so excited. Now I’ve just got to write a bunch of letters out and see if I can’t get some relatives to send me some helping. I’m so excited.
I might be able to go to Paraguay on a Missions trip. Crazay! I’ve never been on a missions trip before and, well, seeing as I’m going for my bachelor’s in World Missions, it might be a good idea to finally go on a missions trip.
It’s weird that I might go to Paraguay. I always saw myself as a European girl. But who knows! The trip is only, like, ten days in May. Soooo excited. We’re going to Asuncion (I believe that’s how it’s spelled, I really should know… it’s the capital).
My dad makes fun of me all the time how I’ll end up in a hut in Africa eating grub worms. Sweet Jesus, I hope not. Grub worm is not how I roll. But again, who knows!
I’m going to be a missionary. .
Hehe, I want to go to Paraguay because apparently, my friend found out that if you are a blood doner, it is legal to fight to the death in Paraguay. So we’re going and I’m gonna be his translator/second.
