move to china

I had it all just on front of me, until I got some bad news and lost the change (for now). But my luck didn’t abandon me totally since I got a new change. Though it’s a lot longer way, having this as a goal gives you powers.

Though first it felt like a total kick down, eventually I think maybe it was meant to go like this, although I’m still not happy about it. Anyways this will stay on hold for some time (couple of years) for now. And after that I can make a decision.

Moving to China in about one week. Seems like I got 3 goals at once. Find a new job, Move to China and Find a life together with my girlfriend. Suprisingly I feel more worried than excited, probably because of the short time. Last week in Finland will be very busy preparing all the stuffs, packing and getting a visa, but I will try to eat “Ruisleipä” (rye bread) as much as possible.

Im 21 and have been going to ITT-Tech since I graduated high school for Computer Networking Systems. (Which I Hate Because Of The School). The Economy in Michigan sucks. Ive been bruised, battered, and beaten mentally living in this country and i really need to get out of here. So back to the main point I am determined to get to China some how some way. Got any Ideas? I have seen a lot of English Teaching positions available over there but I Only know English. Im a fast learner so if anyone knows any crash courses please send me a message.

The plane ticket has been purchased!! I ended up paying a lot more for it than I wanted to, but they’ll reimburse me, so technically it’s not my money being spent…

Someone is going to have to mail me a copy of the 7th book if I can’t find an English version over there… YAY!! :)

P.S. Who do you think is going to kick butt, Harry or Voldemort?

I got an email this morning saying that I might get to go in July instead of August because they need help with a summer teaching program in Weifang! And they’ll waive some of the Shenzhen program fees if I go! Yay, I’m so excited! :)

I was accepted for a teaching job in Shenzhen, China, but I’m struggling to find money for my plane ticket and other expenses. I’m going to work my butt off this summer, though, so hopefully I’ll get there somehow! I have training in Beijing for three weeks during August and then I’ll be teaching English at a middle school in Shenzhen (a small city about 30 minutes from Hong Kong) from September ‘07 to July ‘08. YAY! I went to China for a month last summer and it was amazing…can’t wait to go back! :D

Been here four years, might move back within the 5th.
