Seeing as how I am constantly buying or trading new books with people. I give up.

got about thirty books or so sat on my shelf that need reading! i do read a lot but some how always end up buying a new book before i read them.
I updated my list last night & there were 7 more I had sold, so I am down to 35 now. I might have to whittle this list down even more b/c a few of them are “reference books” and I’m kiddin myself if I really think I’m going to read them all cover to cover one day. ha
So..this is taking longer than I expected. Mainly b/c I keep buying new books or borrowing them from friends & coworkers. Of my original 158, I sold 45 of them and read 71 that I still have….which leaves me with 42 still to go. sigh I will try to crack down on this list more this year…I’ve had this “thing” on here for 2 yrs now! And my list of “books I own” has grown exponentially since then…
Because I do read them and then I buy more and I read them. I realized that I will never be completely caught up because of my book buying fetish. :)
finished reading “a girl named zippy” by haven kimmel. i enjoyed this book completely. one thing did not pan out the way i expected, but who is to say that that makes it any less powerful a memoir? it was fantastic. read it. enjoy it. eat it all up.
another one to add to the shelves—”death of a salesman”, arthur miller. picked this gem up for $0.27 at marsha’s thrift in chambersburg, pa.
by chuck klosterman.
got this little book at a thrift store during their ”$1 bag-of-books” sale. perfect. i enjoyed “killing yourself to live”, so i thought this would be nice. dearest mark read it, said it was good, but not as good as “KYtL”. we will see. also. i always read the title as “fargo city rock”. he does too. where is my mind?
anyway. i read a pathetically small amount of the book today; bringing me to page 54.
I have like 50 books … wich 25 or so I already read .. but i have to read the other ones … when I finish reading my books I’ll grab my parents books and read them ALL (more of 200) o.O
am I crazy? o.O
Finished:
“open heart, clear mind” by Ven Thubten Chodron (currently reading through it again, amazing book)
