Does anyone know of any good reputable publishers? I have several pieces of work that I would like to become published, but am struggling in the discovery of HOW to achieve their publication. They certainly have potential and this is one thing I am very passionate about doing.

I have quite a few poems already that are worth publishing, but I need to add to them… make the collection a bit longer and concrete. I want to spend at least 2 hours every work working on poetry.

I gave up on waiting for that one guy to do my cover, asked somebody else, that was taking awhile. I’ve taken it into my own hands. Its almost done… just don’t know what I want written on the back. We have no money now, so I’m not in a hurry to finish it, especially since its so close.
But I’m not giving up!

I’m just waiting on my artist to finish the cover. He’s doing it for free so I have to right to complain, though I really do want to :)
Also, I need to do the page numbering manually, but other than that, its done.

poetry has always been close to my heart because my great-grandmother was a poet. she passed away almost two years ago. well lately (within the last four yrs.)i discovered i inherited her talent. she had a poetry book published and its been my dream to publish a book and dedicate it to her. she is my inspiration and my mentor.

I have a collection of Poetry I’ve written over the past five years that I would love to publish. I came close once, but the so-called friend who offered to publish backed out on me. My poetry was too “weird.” I’m not giving up though. I’m still writing…
Lesson learned: I will NEVER suppress the feelings of my soul for anyone. Never let anyone tell you how to live, dress, act, or just “be.” We live in a society that fears and destroys what it does not understand. Let us move beyond such things and follow our dreams, our passions, our hearts…
Ride the lighting and follow your dreams my friends,
Trey Brown
