learn how to play an acoustic guitar

music is the best thing you can do for yourself, if its not guitar, learn something else.

took me 2 years of extremely lazy and sporadic learning. you can play decently in less than a year if you put some effort

Get classes, learning how to do things the right way is always important

I’ve had 4 lessons and I can play ‘mountain tune’ !!! Its not that impressive really, but it does sound like its supposed too, sort of ;0)

i have a lesson once a week for 30 mins before or after my childrens lesson. O.k so far although I feel slow and clumsy and I must cut my nails!!!

I just bought a new guitar and now its time to learn to play. I’ve messed around with friends guitars and can play a few cords and read tabs. Any one have an suggestions for an easy first song to learn?

It was hard at first and I had to practice a ton-probably 3 times as much as the rest of the class. I’m still not that good but I’m improving-in the end I was glad I learned.

I’ve tried to play but can’t get my hands to form the F chord which was somewhat limiting!
