I cant find any information on the topic…just a bunch of ppl “doing this”

i’ve just completed this … now to learn what i can do with it!

You’ll curse it when you want to adapt your application to the web with open source tools. Do the extra effort and at least use MySQL or PostgreSQL as the backend even if you develop the user interface with Access. Even better, start right away with Free (as in speech) tools only.

Having said this, I’d like to add that Access really is an amazing rapid prototyping tool for database user interfaces.
