expect less from humanity

Why can’t I expect the basics from humanity? Ok there are instances of stupidity and I can scream when that happens. But I refused to lower my expectations to zero. ARGH!!

I had removed the goal of “become less enraged at instances of stupidity”. If you expect less of them, your to be less enraged by their stupidity.

Humanity and I have this deal: I can care all I want about it but I can’t cry when it falls through.
I still cry. :(

its hard, after putting efforts, sweat n time . .. its hard not to. but there it is, if we expect, we r bound to be dissapointed, the things is, we could never be satisfied when we expect. . .not expect too much, but by mere expecting. it also puts pressure on the people we expect to deliver our expectations, usually the ones we really love n care.

Changed from “expect less from humanity, and learn to love again in the process” to “expect less from humanity”.

I’m a lover. Learning to love again was never an issue to begin with.

I’m thinking about just getting rid of this goal.

Expect WAY less. The love part? Let’s just take it really slow.

Is it even possible to expect less yet still care?
