    OK, it’s cool that I can say I skiied in Hawaii, and it was very beautiful, but you can’t even really call it skiing. More like “avoid the rocks on skiis”. It was a 1-minute run and then they drive you back up, like 5 times.

    I’ve skiied a lot of places, but never on an active volcano, and never anywhere where I wore shorts and a rayon shirt on the way up the slopes.
