Jenn29 is attempting to study.
One day…
How I did it: I chose to do it for a last year assignment in school. Originally we were supposed to do the assignment with a scientific or musical approach, but I talked to the teacher who thought that art would be okay. So I - and two of my classmates - painted and drew and planned all year, booked a room at a place (it was like a youth recreation center), put up posters and had the exhibition. Which was a huge sucess, I might ad.
Lessons & tips: Just DO IT! Take a chance, work your butt off and advertise, talk to the right people, make it happen! We were recieved with kindness and great interest among those who knew about it, and it was easier than we though. We underestimater the time though, so we nearly didn't make it. It's very time consuming to create all the paintings you need for an exhibition.
Resources: Art shops that were willing to help us, teachers who supported us and of course the people at the recreation centre who let us use their premises. Not to mention all the paint, pencils, brushes, papers, scetches, mind maps, calendars, etc. Lots of planning!
I have heard it’s really hard to get started and have an exhibition dedicated to one person and so I’ve been trying to get one or two shown in cafe’s, bars etc, even managed to get three in a new gallery BUT apparently if you get a syndicate of arty friends together it’s easier to hire a space and cover finances. Anyone heard of this happening before?

Once I get back into painting I want to get a collection together and have an exhibit of my work. Before I can acheive this goal I have to complete a couple of others, like ‘get back into painting.’
A friend of my mum’s had an exhibition a few weeks ago and inspired me to have one myself. She used a few of my techniques and has really got me thinking…...just need the time now…..ine day….in the next two years i hope
