talk to a complete stranger on Skype

My Skype login is a.belsky, and i’d also be happy to talk to somebody i don’t know.
Beware of my poor English!

yes I really want to have chat in english with someone I don’t know… That would be really interesting and will make be able to understand english in different accents…

A girl from Beijing called me on Skype today, and we chatted for more half an hour. It was superb.

We exchanged email addresses and mobile telephone numbers (we can call free with Skype paid accounts!), and we’ll keep in touch.

So, yesterday I finally did this. And I was glad that the first person who called me spoke French! It was a bit frustrating when I couldn’t say exactly what I wanted, but it was good practice, and he even said I spoke well! But then, in the end it turned out that he, like so many other people on Skype, wanted sex… Sigh.

But then I spoke to a nice girl from Austria who wanted to practice her English. That was nice, and we migh talk again sometime.

I also chatted with a German guy in German. I know very little German, but somehow I managed to have a conversation! That was really nice to notice. Skype is really good for learning (or at least improving your skills at) languages!

Chatted about this and that; what it was like where we lived, what we did in our spare time, all sorts of nonsense :) was most enjoyable.

while I’m sure it’s a probability thing – I’ve tried SkypeMe for the hell of it and just didn’t find people to connect with – I hope it’s not me ;-)
