own a rental property

I have always wanted to do this but I get nervous b/c I think there’s so many unknowns – your renters, issues, etc… Anyone done this before??

I have wanted to do this for sooooo long. Boy, do I wish I did it back in 1998…

my DH lost his assistant mgr two months ago, and now he got a transfer from Dothan who needed a place to live. How cool is that?

I’m still cleaning out the last bit of junk in the garage. Hard to believe all this mess is mostly mine :0) I’m trying to clean each room as I go, vacuum the carpet, wipe down the baseboards, etc. I’ve been playing with the idea of stagging the house. Set up a table setting, a picture on the wall, nothing big. I guess that’s the interior decorator in me coming out. The add should appear in the local newspaper tomorrow. Keep those fingers crossed!

We closed on the new house yesterday, so if things go as planned, we can rent out the house we’re in now. There are a few projects that need to be finished first. Plus there is a long list of things to be done to the new house before we move in. I can see that I’ll be busy, busy for awhile.
