Weather - cold!

The ground is frozen and will probably stay that way for another couple months. I can keep on collecting rocks for the retaining walls, but the ground (even where it’s sandy) is solid except for a couple hours in the afternoon.
I put off working on the Irises until too late, which means I can’t dig them up and separate them until March (earliest). Now I have to choose between having a bunch of crowded blowers fighting for room or spaced out but stunted blooms for this year.
I know which choice is easier …
