How to go to the top of the eiffel tower
It made me
 "breathtaking!"
How I did it: Climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower was a wonderful experience & I recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris... the view from the top is breathtaking! Lessons & tips: When you get to the Eiffel Tower you have the choice of going to the first level, the second level, or all the way to the top... I figured if I've come this far I was going all the way to the top! You can either take 3 separate lifts to get to the top or as I did... climbed the stairs to the second level & then the lift to the top (there are no stairs to the top level only a lift.) Climbing the stairs was a great workout (700 steps) & it was also a bit cheaper than taking the lift all the way. I also recommend trying to get there early as the line can get long. And if you visit the Eiffel Tower at night there is a spectacular light show... bring your own champagne & sit back & enjoy!!!

My wife and I did this 3 years ago. The view was awesome during the day. What we missed and regretted was that we did not take the night view! For those who have not done so yet, this is an oppotunity not to be missed during your life-time. Dream It, List It and Do It!

The view was amazing…and it was at night and all of Paris was spread out and lit up in front of my eyes.

I don’t really know what to say, but it was great. I was scared going up the elevator on a slant, and they had a sign to watch out for pickpockets, but it doesn’t matter, because you feel so fine with the wind and the view.
If you do go to Paris..

I suggest also going to the top of another tall building if you want a nice view of the city…
That way you can get your Eiffel tower IN your view.

I traveled to France and Switzerland in high school. I don’t think I was really old enough to really, really appreciate it. I remember going to the Eiffel Tower. We didn’t get to go to the top :(
I want to go back someday. Re-visit all the places I’ve seen and reminisce about the things I do remember. It was a beautiful country!!

Its beautiful, although, if you really wanna see all Paris, just go to Le Sacre Coeur.

paris is beautiful, and at the top of the eiffel tower you can see all of paris in all its beauty. this is definetely worth doing!
