I need to do this. It’s not even a want. I get crazy if I don’t move. Like, bonkers.
So. I’m going to take a walk down to the Brooklyn Flea as soon as I eat my sandwich and finish my coffee. Hopefully I’ll find a bench for my apartment.

I started this last night. I’m coming down with a cold, and was feeling groggy and out of it last night. Instead of whinning about not wanting to exercise, I just decided that I’d do only 10 minutes. I’ve read that you shoud continue your exercise routine even if you’re feeling under the weather; although probably not recomended if on your death bed. Once I started it felt great! I thought about my day, all the things I was greatful for and by doing that, thinking of the good things, I released stress. My focus was on the rhythm of my steps (I go up and down my staircase) 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-cha-cha-cha. The cha-cha-cha is when I pivot and change directions (back up or back down the stairs). Tonight I’ll try for the full 30 minutes!

This one had to be put on hold due to injury. :(

I’m editing this goal to something doable. And it doesn’t apply to dance class, even though that is exercise, because dance is by default an hour and a half.

So, the 15 extra pounds has become 20, but I’ve been really good about going to dance class now that I’ve rejoined the Intensive Study Program. Speaking of, I’ve gotta get my butt to class now.

I figure if I shoot for every day I’ll accomplish this one on most days of the week.
I feel better when I’m thinner, even if people say now “Oh but you’re already so thin!” I don’t care. I don’t need the extra weight I’m hauling around. I’m not climbing a mountain, I’m not having a baby, the food supply isn’t running out in the forseeable future; I don’t need fat stores.
So here we go. Time for cardio kickboxing.
