Something really weird has happened to me lately. I have fallen in love with my best friend, a guy I have been really close to for 6 years. I don’t know what it is that has changed, I don’t know where it is that the lines became blurred and we fell in love.

But suddenly, here I am with a boyfriend who loves and respects me. Who allows me to simply be who I am, who encourages me to look after myself and grow stronger as a person.

I never actually thought that it was possible before.

I will be leaving England for 6 weeks in 3 months tomorrow. Then a month later leaving again for America for a year.

Any guy I see now already has an expiry date on it, and it just makes me wonder: Is it even worth it?

I went on a date 2 days ago and it was amazing; he’s from Leeds and he picked me up from Nottingham and we went to the Peak District. It was a lovely day and I had a great time. But nothing happened. We didn’t even kiss.

Thing is, I’m not even bothered. For the first time, I’ve realised that the guy is less my type as the date went on but we got on really well.

I just want to cut men out of my life for the time being.

MOST guys in high school are just looking to get laid.
i’m not saying all of them are, but most of them are.
you need to be into YOUR life, and know who you are before you start looking for a serious relationship; or it’ll just go to hell and you’ll get hurt. OR you’ll end up a 40 year old housewife who never did anything with her life.
who the hell wants that?
just get into your life, and if someone amazing comes up, which they will in due time, fucking go for it!

ok so i have this problem, i have a few guys that like me at the moment…but i just dont feel the same way about ANY of them…whats wrong w/ me. im 17 years old and ive never had a “serisous” boyfriend b/c i think that im too picky. i think that im just waiting for teh right guy, bug he just doesnt seem to be comeing my way. what do i do? especially b/c all of my frineds are pairing up all around me and its making me feel alone…. :(

okay so i’ve had a bf before but i wasn’t like IN LOVE with him or anything. i just want someone i could be friends with and feel completely comfortable around and stuff. all my friends are just like “settling” for guys who ask them out just to have someone to call their boyfriend and do valentines with and yeah. i don’t wanna do that. i keep telling myself i meet a good guy when the time is right..but it seems like forever.
