meet J.K. Rowling

J.K. Rowling is my hero, and it would be an honor to meet her. Harry Potter changed my life! :)

Met her at the Deathly Hallows signing in NYC in October 2007! Absolutely awesome!

I simply want to say thank you for everything.

It isn’t even like J.K. Rowling is the best author out there. She isn’t. She really is clumsy with words. But the series is still my favorite literature series. The plot is golden. The villans are golden. The rest has its flaws but it’s okay. The flaws are what make it beautiful.

Also, it’s the fandom that infatuates me. J.K. Rowling didn’t know that her books would be creating this giant community. This giant family. But, it did. And, honestly, I want to meet Jo Rowling because of this creation. This fandom creation is mind-blowing. And I want to thank her for creating my ideal family. And I want to thank her for adopting me into this ideal family. And I want to tell her that I love her for this.

jkr is AMAZING. she knew everything about all the books from the very beginning! i would have never guessed. everything just falls into place. i thought she was doing it book by book but i was so wrong.

harry potter means so much to me. everything is so – good about it. like how real and down to earth everybody is in it. i love how close everybody is in their houses and all the adventure in it. i LOVE how everybody is willing to fight for their friends and risk their lives all the time.

we could learn a lot of life lessons from harry potter and jkr. she is an amazing author that you really can grow up with. like the 1st book, i read when i was young, was written for a young kid. and then as harry gets older and i get older the way she writes seems to grow up with you. her characters are SO easy to relate to.

Harry Potter means more to me than anything else. I went to the reading in NYC but I did not get to meet her. Only if I could have.

I would love to even be in her presence.

She has graced the world with her books, and opened up many doors. I would just like to be in her presence and think, ‘I was near one of the world-changing people.”

She amazes me. She seems to stay genuine and true to her family throughout her ‘fame’ with the series.

I’m also a huge Harry Potter fan — very in awe of her many plot threads and her ability to form characters that are so incredibly real and maintain each of their personalities and stories through the series.

A brilliant author; would love to shake her hand someday.
