... but I always wanted to. Now I am already too old for it and it is also very expensive, but when I am getting even older and earn my own money, I will try to play the violin, the piano and the drums. They are my favorite instruments.
How to learn to play an instrument well
How I did it: I began playing the flute at age 8, and its the kind of thing you just get better and better at as you continue to practice and dedicate yourself to it - like any art.

The first instrument I tried out was an ocarina. I think I bought it in 2005. I bought an ocarina that was a replica of the sweet potato one in Zelda. I can only play it if I look at the book of notes. I never tried to memorize a song and I guess playing it didn’t captivate me enough. I still have it but I haven’t picked it up for almost two years now.
My friend bought me a toy harmonica later that year. More specifically a 16-hole Chromatic Harmonica. She thought since I had the ocarina I might be able to learn the harmonica too. But that was a bust, I don’t think my body is suited to play wind instruments because they make me lightheaded so I could never play/practice too long.
But there is hope. My sister owns an acoustic-electric guitar she tried to pick up but never really kept up. Since she moved I’ve been baby-sitting and playing it. I started fiddling with it in May and have kept up with it ever since! Now it’s only a matter of playing it “well.” Maybe I’ll even invest in an amp. 8)

I always thought it was so cool to be able to play a musical instrument, but never really learned how to. I want to be good at one instrument, I am planning to experiment with guitar, drums, piano.
Well, I play the Trombone. Not much to say about it, except I’m not horrible or anything.
then I took up violin and was quite good at it through my school years.
I’ve never really been interesting in learning an instrument, but it seems like it’s important. My brother (who’s 11!) is already learning to play the drums (harder than it looks, trust me) and the trombone. Maybe I’ll catch up at some point.
I can play the piano at an advanced level, and I’m not done. I love it. I can’t go a day, half a day without playing. The music fuels me.
