GreenEyedMom is really thinking about some of these goals
How I did it: I don't know taht I would do it the way I did. I went through the first stage of separation and divorce. I focused a lot on my kids, work and not a whole lot on food. I did eat, but my appetite was smaller, therefore, it changed the portions that I was consuming. I also did a lot more with cleaning and organizing, which kept me moving around and when things started getting more organized and settled, my energy came back. When your e… Read how I did it…

So far coworkers have said I look like I have lost weight and have noticed my pants aren’t as tight. I’m going to weigh in this weekend to see if it is actually true that I have lost weight.

So far I have lost about 15 pounds – gone from 142 to 127, but I have been stuck at 127 for a couple weeks.
I lost the first ten pounds very easily by doing the South Beach Diet menus. After two weeks you are supposed to transistion back to eating a few fruits and carbs – that’s where I got lost. How much is a few, and which ones… the diet is very flexible, but also very vague about this step. So I’m still sort of on step one with some cheating.

Well, I am going back to only eating sweets once a week and replacing sugar products with fruit to get my sugar kick. Last time I did this for medical reasons I lost a ton of weight. This time I’m making it more of a lifestyle change. So far, I have been eating strawberries, pears and fruit cocktail to get my sugar fix.

suger9100 Being me as best as I can
I am finally in the gym, yes I paid, and I have been going and it’s been motivating me to eat healthier. Which is great. So I guess now all I have to loose is the rest of the weight. I am so happy and proud. I need to tone up some. The surgery has left me a little bit crazy. My belly is a little bulgy. SO I am officially dieting from today and exercising. My B-day was last week and all I ate was everything and anything. So now I am feeling great. I eat light at work; I just have to watch what I am eating at home which is really hard to do. I want to loose at least 4-5 lbs by my cousin’s party on the 18th of October. I have 11 days to do it.

So my goal was around 125. Okay I finally got here look more than 1 year later. I can’t even imagine myself at 143 lbs yuck!!! I looked like that. I knew I had to loose weight when I saw a pic of me at my cousins wedding in Nov 07. I looked hugh and pregnant. I know 5`4 140 was not bad, but it looked bad. Now I am around 124-127 daily. I am on another goal to get down to 118 and tone up. I still have little bulge in tummy. That’s from a surgery I had and the surgery but me back a little. I have recently been eating what ever and anything sweet I wanted. I was stuck in the house for one month and all I did was eat, eat, and eat. I finally returned to work and still was eating. But as yesterday 9/24/08 I started not a diet, a eating regimen. Which I felt so good about. I ate small portions and felt full and did not eat sweets at all. Yippee I usually can’t go a day without eating chocolate and I did so that’s a big accomplishment for me. I am extremely happy and I want to get healthy. I am sticking to my healthy eating guide that I made. Due to my surgery I really can not exercise for about 3 more months. But I do try to walk as much as I can. I get severe back pain if I do to much, so I have to take it slow. Oh yeah Big event coming up on Oct 18, 2008 that’s 23 days away 3 weeks and 2 days to shape up. Everyone is going to see me looking fabulous. And then my b-day 10/4. I might eat Japanese and cake and gain like 5 lbs. I put on weight quickly but I will try my will power.
Yeah for me.
