get a new desk

Here’s a picture of a portion of my new desk. I’m in the picture too, because I got a new haircut. :P

It seems so much bigger now that it is in the tiny office, but at least it has tons of room for storage, which is what I really need. Also, I think it’s very pretty! :)

So, after talking it over with my bf (who also is getting a desk) I had decided on the smaller one with a hutch, and a chest to go next to it for storage, but when I got to the store, I saw the bigger desk again, and decided to test it out. As soon as I sat down, I knew it was for me!

We scratched the idea of the little one, and now I’m getting the larger one, sans the chest. The cost is about the same, and there’s a little extra workspace (or somewhere to put my lunch when I’m working on a time consuming project.)

Yay! I can’t wait until it’s delivered!

The tiny one with an addition of drawers, or the bigger one with the little file cabinet? Or, the one with more storage, but less arm room? Decisions, decisions.

I’ve found the PERFECT desk. There’s also a matching hutch, so I won’t have to worry about shelves.

Now I just need to wait for my financial aid to come through before I can buy it…

Mine doesn’t match my room at all, and it’s kind of falling apart.

I would also like to get a couple of shelves to put above it. I think it would look a lot more organized, and interesting.

Only problem?

I can’t seem to find a white desk ANYWHERE! Especially not with drawers…

Yeah, my desk area is probably the most unsatisfactory in my room right now.

It’s getting better, though.

My friend was getting rid of hers in a garage sale so I decided to snatch it…it is a nice L-shaped glass desk and has revolutionized this room. It is so nice to NOT be sitting on the floor any more. YAY!
