Make a Diaper Cake

This is my most recent diaper cake! It is a 4 tier cake and took about 7 hours but I think it turned out well.

Well I can’t say I made it all by myself. My sis did All the work. I decorated it. It took lots of diapers. It was beautiful. Everyone should do this.

This is my first attempt at making a diaper cake.
I found a poem on allaboutshowers.com that I printed on a gift tag and attached at the top of the cake: Here is a cake made with love, though I wouldn’t call it yummy. For the ingredients that were used go on a baby’s bottom, not in a tummy. Flour, sugar, milk and eggs will make a cake so sweet, but diapers, blankets, and baby socks will make a handy treat.

I used some new and used things from my son to make them, and some girls things that I got when I was pregnant.

I have been wanting to do this for a while now, and my friends baby shower was te perfect opportunity. I had the ballerina bear laying around and took it as my source of inspiration. Hope you like, any feedback is welcome!

This was SO much fun! My sister in law loved it and it turned out to be the talk of the party….fun to make, easy to learn, I will do this again!
