Had a decent round the other day, landed on the green of the 18th a few yards from the hole needing to 2 putt to get a round of 109. I normally 2 putt at worst, but nerves must’ve got the better of me I took 4 putts to get the ball in the hole for a round of 111.

Still definitely improving, won’t be long before I get this, then the target will shift to a (definitely achievable) sub 100. :) 2 years ago

My goal was a “sub 110” round, so I’m almost there. A ridiculous 8 lost balls – if I hadn’t done that my score would have been only 94! 2 years ago

(but it was on an easy 9 hole course)

Been practicing and improving my driving and putting – getting there!
Not played 18 holes for a few weeks – hopefully will break the 110 (and soon after 100) barrier. :) 2 years ago

I had lessons as a kid and played the odd 9 hole course. Played an 18 hole course for the first time last week, played now 3 times in the last 2 weeks, scored 131, 113 & 119.

Really enjoyed it, I may even join the same club as my friend is a member too and it would suit my shift patterns perfectly (I don’t start work til 6pm so could play in the afternoon). The fresh air (and the walk) will do me good!

Once I’ve achieved a sub 110, I’ll go for a sub 105, sub 100 etc etc. I think a sub 100 round is definitely achieveable, just need to get back into the swing of things (no pun intended!) 2 years ago
