for some people that feeling of feeling alone is there even if there is already someone there trying to help.you might try to keep your mind busy to try and forget.that leads to some sort of depretion,then to addictions like alcohol,and can sometimes lead to suicide. you should try and find someone or something that you can place your trust. for me that trust comes from the one I call god. you may not believe in god, but once you find him you will not fell alone but comforted. he is always there for me,along with everyone that believes. he is the one.

You need to keep yourself busy with a job, hobbies, and housework etc. If you find yourself getting depressed or lonely for various reasons maybe because you are going through something that no one relates to you need to link up with those who relate. Google www.dailystrength.com Daily Strength is an online support group for those people going through tough times whether it be a divorce, an illness or any other problem. www.meetup.com is also good if you want to meet up with other people like you who share similar interests, whether it be seeing movies, practicing a foreign language or anything else that you like. Voluntary work is also a great way to break down loneliness, contribute to the community and meet people.
Visiting lonely people in hospitals or old folk living alone is also a great idea.
I used to arrange outings with lots of people all the time. I was an extremely needy person. I should realise that some people have their own lives going on and do not want to go out constantly like I did. I am no longer reliant on friends who don’t return calls. Nor do I worry about them. I have found ways to meet up with people who are more sociable, but have learned to appreciate being alone as well.
