Hope and pray that the Red Sox advance to the American League play-offs (I'll deal with what comes after that later)

They’ve made it!! Now to beat the White Sox in the first play-off series. It starts tomorrow. Go Sox!! :-)

if there are many Sox fans out there, but it is real nail-biting time now. I recently heard about a study they did last year that proved how being a Red Sox fan can be bad for your health. During the play-offs, the patients admitted into Boston area Emergency rooms increased by 15%. After the Sox won The World Series, the numbers went back down.
It is an amazing thing how passionate people around here are about our Sox. Everywhere you go, it’s all people talk about.
