I am working on a few ideas. The summer could end with me working on a project.
How I did it: I used One True Media (http://onetruemedia.com) and several cameraphone video clips from my Nokia XpressMusic and pieced together an activist film in thirty minutes, including posting it to Youtube! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I took a Video I class -- absolutely the best idea I've had in a while. My "films" were only about five minutes each, but there was a full plot arc, and I put quite a lot of effort into them. I am absolutely, completely in love with film-making now, and it's definitely something I want to pursue in college; I'm crap at camerawork, and I desperately need to work on taking ideas and putting them coherently on the page, but once I'm in the e… Read how I did it…
How I did it: we made 1 short movie for our film festival last year, so it makes 3 short movies 'til now. This year, we're planning to have another short film shoot and also a festival. Read how I did it…

hopelight86 is having friendster, myspace, blog, facebook, geni and now 43things?
i’ve made videos of my holidays. but never a short movie of my own.
So, i want to make one. but hasnt quite found the right idea yet..
although I dont know anything about filming techniques or scripts till now but I think that I got what it takes to do this thing
and I will do it soon
but now I am kind of preparing myself watching good movies , reading about it all that
till someday I will do my film :)
Well I’ve started on the project by shooting the first scene of my film and then editing it.
Given that I have had to learn how to use the camera and the editing software as I’ve gone along I’m quite pleased with the results so far.
I have an idea, I’ve almost finished the script, I’ve lined up my friend as the DP, now I need to find two voice actors for the audio overdub, scout a location, and raise some money!
this is a weird kind of a goal as i have no idea what the film would be about, although i think it will probably be some kind of loosely structured documentary. i’ve done a course on the basic and can more or less use final cut pro – just waiting for inspiration to hit.
Machacha Trying to just let things happend
I have do some shorts, but I want to be able to shoot a featurette, a movie.
Still trying….

quixoticbob asks,
“Anyone have suggestions for open source video editing prog? I found jahshaka but was curious what other think. I don't want to change the film much but just want basic editing functions like cut, splice, etc. using LINUX”
