go to the HI hostel and go on one of their walks through east sooke park…the guide and the scenery are exellent, you’ll only see whales and dolphins at certain times of the year…you’ll only see the sea at other times…try the sushi, again ask the guide he’ll tell you where, hes also a sucker for single malt whiskey . the sea trip between vancouver and the island is one of the best sea trips going, watch out for dolphins and whales and wave to the other ferry :0)....with a camera on the bow is the place to be …......... 7 years ago

Was there as a child and I loved returning. Gorgeous cities, clean, interesting people and healthy. Beautiful nature and ocean. Perfect weather. I had a fabulous time – the men aren’t bad either! 7 years ago
