Tatted at the wrists  — 1 month ago

Worth doing!

3 tats so far. One on each wrist and another on the inside of my ankle. I love them and am planning on a few others.

Why wait so long?  — 2 months ago

I want it on my right shoulder. I met a guy who is doing great tribal drawings in Cassis (France) but I still need to complete the design.

If I see a tatoo I really like or can design one, then I’d like one. Dunno where it’ll go though.

I love it, but it makes me cry!  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

I got my first tat on the night of my 17th b-day from my lover (then friend) at my husband’s consent. I’ve liked tattoos since I was a child, but when my mom got her first when I was 12, I decided that I was going to die with inkwork!
I begged for weeks. “Take me to a parlor!” “Do you know a friend that can do it?” “You have one, why are you being hypocritical?” Then, the day before my birthday, every thing went south. None of my friends could come, it was raining that weekend and our spot for the party was gonna flood like it always does, and to make matters worse, hubby said that if I tried saying another word about a tattoo, then he wouldn’t ever sign a release form for me on ANYTHING ever again. I didn’t sleep a wink that night, and when my birth time rolled around in the a.m., we had a count down that ended in tears. On this “horrid” looking birthday, he finally broke. “Talk to Nick. He likes you, see if he’ll do it for free as a birthday gift.” And sure enough, he did.
That birthday was next to perfect, the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. We set up shop late that evening and he got to drillin’. After he finished, it was beautiful, but only half finished. Now, I cry when I look at it, because we did not know I was allergic to tattoo ink! (Which is actually an EXTREMELY rare occurance. Nick-kun literally said “I’ve heard rumor of cases like you, but I thought it was just something silly that they told beginner artists!”) I also cry because my beloved Nick-kun is away for work right now and it pulls at my heart strings to look at it.
It looks terrible, but only because of my reaction and it’s half-finished-ness. Now that I’ve done my homework, I can safely finish my work as soon as Nick-kun comes home!

Not worth it!

I thought it was cool when I was younger. Now, it is not that great.
