I found some free online lessons, that are sent to my inbox every week and they are actually really good! I’m starting… yay!
How I did it: I started picking up my guitar and playing the simplest chords. It was tough at first, really tough, having to press the chords and strum at the same time, but I gradually got used to it. It was tough, but then it was all worth it. I play and I sing everyday with my guitar nowadays. I even uploaded videos of myself on Youtube.com, plus composed numerous songs (: Read how I did it…
How I did it: My brother plays the guitar, and he taught me some chords, then i found this booklet on "how to play guitar' and thats actually how i learndmy skill today. Read how I did it…

I have been taking lessons but I haven’t had the time to really dedicate myself to doing it. I have a lot more work and it is hard for me to make my lessons. I also work a lot further away than I did when I started.
I really want to find the time each day to practice.

I WANT TO MAKE MUSIC THAT RADIATES THE BEAUTY ON THE INSIDE OF ME.I WANT TO MAKE MELODIES THAT ARE A SWEET SMELLING AROMA TO MY HEAVENLY FATHER.
Well, considering how financially limited I am to satisfy my other more ambitious goals, an attempt in mastering the guitar appears to be the most rational and achievable at this point in time.
I should device myself a plan. Ones that I know for a fact I will not fail to adhere to. Challenging + Achievable/ Attainable.
Step 1: 2 hours practice every day (preferably in the morning)
Step 2: Sign up in some local community classes (guitars for beginners)
Step 3: Loads of patience…
I’ll keep updating myself here about the journey to master this piece of instrument.
well first it might help if i had a guitar, but there not too expensive, and 2 months of my allowance, plus the money in my purse should get me one. then i just need to find some decent lessons…
I got a new Fender Stratocaster for X-Mas, but I have no idea how to play. Guitars are my passion, which makes it look worse since I can’t play. Hopefully I can learn how to play soon. The song I want to learn how to play is Viva La Vida by Coldplay, my absolutely favorite song! If anyone has any tips please tell me so I can finally LEARN!!!!!!!

Found my little brothers kid sized guitar. Not ideal but it should suffice until I get a real one to replace it.
zoe_aicha Is moving forward.
I bought a guitar about 3 years ago and I haven’t learned how to play it. I don’t even know how to tune it (LOL). But I keep it clean. This year is the year to learn.
