K2643!!! MARGATE :)
Yes I have done it :) and Margate was a great place to end my goal – a beautiful windy-yet-sunny run along the clifftops of Kent, everyone who I met smiled at me and the views were amazing. 2 days ago

How I did it: I decided to start this goal to give me extra motivation to run when I went away for the weekend, or on holiday or for work - it led me to more places than I could have imagined :)
Most of my runs were in England (where I'm from) but I've also run in Scotland, Wales, Ireland, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany and the USA, for distances ranging from a couple of miles to 26.2!
It really made me look for runs in different places - I got to do all sorts of runs (woodland, city, seaside, countryside, riverside, lakeside!) and see all sorts of places. Read how I did it… 2 days ago

It wasn’t quite as sunny as in the picture (or as it had been earlier in the week) because it SNOWED! Yes my running in the cold has continued even in late April. Still, it was an interesting run by the river and the lake but I was so glad of the warm bath afterwards… 1 month ago
All my runs recently seem to have been cold, and this was no exception! But a beautiful run :) 2 months ago
Newcastle-Upon-Tyne
Two great short runs, very refreshing as it was so cold but great scenery by the river:) 2 months ago
Guten Tag Deutschland!
36) Berlin, what an interesting place, can’t wait to go back and see it properly ie slowly! Whilst running I saw loads of the top sights like the Brandenberg Gate, Berlin Dom (Cathedral), Museum Island, the Jewish Memorial, the church with 2 spires, the River, the funky lightbox, the TV tower – wow!
37) Munich = slight and nippy contrast to above but in my defence I was there for less time, was busy with work and it was very icy! therefore notable as the very first time I’ve run on a treadmill:) reminds me of my completed “do something new every month” goal… 4 months ago
Not written an entry for ages – newly inspired and a lot to catch up on!

On my last day in Singapore, we got up at 7 am and left for the Botanic garden. At first we walked around looking at the place and people. After my friend got a bench to sit and read, I left her for a run for 30 minutes. It was a great run bc there were so many hills and lots of things to see around and lots of runners too.. Then, I did pushups, sideplanks and yoga.. 17 months ago
On the first and second morning when I was there, I left my room around 6.30 am to run along the beach, barefoot, while my girlfriends were still in bed. There were a couple of foreigners running back and forth too. I ran about 1 hour on the first morning and then 30 minutes on the second bc I had terrible hangover. After running, I jumped into the water and swam in the crystal clear water for 30 mins with my girlfriends. 18 months ago
I went out running alone bc my sister wanted to sleep more. I started from the hotel to the harbour, got into a small alley, followed along, and accidentally found an art museum, told myself to come back with a camera to walk around taking photos. I ran further to the ohter side of the harbor, into town, taking new routes, let my instinct take me back to the hotel by taking different roads.. I finally got to the hotel seeing more of Kaosiung.. total time of running 45 mins.. 20 months ago
We went out tracking up to the hill and I ran up the hill chasing my sister. We panted like a dog when getting up there.. 20 months ago
First morning in Taipei, I went out running with my sister for 45 mins. The weather was a bit cold but bearable. It was always a good way to look around and get to know the town by running around, though the town was still sleepy and devoid of people and cars.. 20 months ago
Henley Half Marathon – one of the best runs I’ve done – very scenic by the Thames and in the countryside & villages : ) 20 months ago
22. Warren Hill (more of a village really, off the A4)
23. Manchester (good long run using the South Manchester cycle trail and the River Mersey) 20 months ago
Sanderstead – was meant to be Riddlesdown but got lost! Moral of the story – take a little map with you if running in unfamiliar places ; ) 22 months ago
Did a long run from BRACKNELL (17) to HURST (20) via JEALOTT’S HILL (18) and BILLINGBEAR (19) – and some other places too – 10 miles – but just picked out the key ones. Interesting places, which I will return to again, but very hot!! 23 months ago
