paint a mural

I’m actually not a very good painter, so this task might be a bit trickier for me than for others. I’m a much better painter/drawer when I have something to work from. Therefore I’m looking through deviantart entries to see if I like anything. Actually this mural is for my room and not for some public space so it’s all about personal preference in my case!

almost? I spackled all the walls in the new house today. I’m almost certain I will be the one sanding and painting them too. if only I could be more creative on them. this goal started as somewhat twofold. I would love to work on a wall sized painting, although as long as I don’t stop creating paintings, I’m pretty much happy.

Summer is coming, so I think I will have more time to work on projects like this.
At least I hope I do

If I could paint whatever I wanted, today I’d paint a mural of fresh, juicy strawberries and slices of orange on my breakfast room wall.

I’m in a fruity mood.

I would love to paint a mural in my room! Having the colors all spread out across the wall, that would be super rad.

my final, 4’x4’. oil and collage. there are also weaved paper areas.

completed, I think. there’s some glazing and heavier areas or paint. it’s due tuesday, so there will be time to hang it before the show. I shouldn’t work on it too much more or it’ll be even less dry by then.

Walls should be covered in pretty pictures. Sadly, I rent so I’m not allowed to paint on all my walls. But one day…...

progress. my thinking was to use blue and yellow areas instead of green grass. I think it’s too much yellow. I’ll figure it out.
