give or receive a promise ring

I’m the kind of girl who wears minimal jewellery. Simply earrings and a ring. That’s it. But the ring that I wear is significant to me and it symbolizes my promise to myself to remain abstinent till I’m married. I just think a promise ring would really mean a lot (when he’s ready, of course) because it would be a constant reminder that I’ll always have him.

1. If a person is wearing a ring, s/he is less likely to be hit on, and therefore, less likely to be tempted
2. It signifies a promise, usually of love or faithfulness
3. My boyfriend doesn’t want to be engaged, but I certainly think we should take it up a notch…
