go to prom with a date

When your in highschool prom is a huge deal and so you stress yourself to ddeath trying to find a date. But really it’s not that important whether you’re with someone or not. You’ll probably have fun ether way, or maybe even more fun if you go stag. My junior year I went with a guy I hardly knew just because I didn’t want to go bu myself, and I really didn’t enjoy myself as much as I could have. I felt like I had to stay with my date all night, so I missed out on dancing with friends and hanging out with other people. I suggest that if you do go with a date make sure you are comfortable with each other, and understand that you don’thave to be attatched at the hip the whole night. It might make prom more enjoyable.

I did this my JR year. I loved it. Then I was sad that I didn’t get to go my SR year. Go every year that you can!

It will always be fun with or without a date…but I always suggest taking someone with you…

I wasn’t even going to go to prom, but my friends finally convinced me that I should go. After I said I would, my friend says that I should go with another friend of hers that doesn’t have a date, so I thought, sure—why not?

Well, it wasn’t a big deal, or anything. He picked me up at her house. It was a windy, rainy day (as was every other day that our class had any ‘big’ event.) We went to his house and watched a movie, went out to dinner, he even bought me a corsage (spell?) but I forgot to get it out of his refrigerator when we left for the dance…lol. When we got there, he went and hung out with his friends, and I hung out with mine. He was nice enough, but we didn’t really know each other, and I liked someone else at the time anyway, so…for me, it would’ve been just fine if I would have gone by myself:)
