My boyfriend found a new District of Columbia quarter! So that leaves six states and five “territories” left (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands.)

How I did it: My family has been collecting these since they started coming out but I never really put a lot of effort into looking for them. About a week ago I realized they were all out and I just wanted to get it done. I looked and I only had 4 quarters left to get so I asked everyone to look for the ones I needed. I finished today when I asked my sister to look through her change. Read how I did it…

My dad gave me the map and my husband start to collect the quarters, he is nuts with coins of all kinds. And we complete the map just checking the change every time we buy something in US. Took us few months. Now my husband forget about the map and i stare at the map and want to spend it hehe!! But was fun!! My personal favorite is the Tennesee Quarter.

For some reason I’ve always wanted to do this. It makes something as mundane as getting change something to look forward to! And now they’ve added DC and the US territorries: Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
I haven’t seen any of them yet, but it’ll certainly make it more challenging…
Digging through all my random change, I have 25/56 so far…

I started asking people at work if they had any of the quarters. Some people came in the next day after having looked through their change at home. One person gave my Wyoming and I got Alaska out of the vending machine. Two down, two more to go. I will try to find more quarters at home.

My mom started this collection for me years ago and I really have not been on a constant lookout for the coins. I could never really remember what I had and did not have. This has been bugging me and I just want it completed so I can get it out of my mind. I looked at my book and had more than I thought. I only need 4 more coins.
Wyoming, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Alaska. If I keep my eyes peeled I will hopefully have this done in a week or two.
Depending on how much change I get and how much stuff I buy which I am trying not to spend too much money.

I dumped out my huge jar of coins yesterday, and I found all of them in it except Arkansas, Alaska, and Hawaii. I bought a little album for them. Should I just go to the bank and ask for those quarters specifically? (It WOULD keep a bored teller entertained for a while searching for one.)
Success!
I must now wait for the release of the District of Columbia/U.S. territory quarters.
