see snow for the first time

i’m from the tropics where snow is non-existent. i have traveled to cold places in winter but it didnt snow while i was there :-( i would really like to experience snow, i imagine it must be magical. i have no idea how i’m gonna make this come true, but i’ll have to think of something.

i had to travel 2500 kms to see snow, but it was all worth it :)

From an early age I have always been intreagued with the idea of snow. There is plenty of rain here in Southeast Texas, but snow is extremely rare down here. So much so that I’ve only ever seen a flurry or two on just a handful of occasions. I begged my parents every year to take me and my sister on a winter vacation, but they never wanted to do that. I don’t think that appealed to them much. Anyway, I am bound and determined that by this time next year I will have taken a winter vacation and tried snowboarding :) I really want the experience of being in a heavy snowfall or waking up and looking outside to see fresh untouched powder that has fallen during the night. Wow, I am getting chills just thinking about it. lol
