I owned a chinchilla “Chingy” two years ago. He was the SWEETEST pet I’ve ever had. I got him a HUGE cage, three stories and he’d run around with his pose able thumbs looking all cute. He loved raisins and these special treats called Yogurt Drops I bought him. (yeah I’m weird but i actually tried one, they taste like yoplait! lol) He was my baby!!! Then he got sick…and died in my arms on afternoon. :-( I think it was the air conditioning. Since his cage was on the floor the vent might have blown on him too strongly. (Chinchillas are very susceptible to drafts and can get very ill from any drastic weather change). _It was sad! Then I designed a shoe box and put him in there and buried him under my grandparents cherry tree that had just fallen over for no reason_on the same day Chingy died. I thought it was symbolic. Cheesy, maybe, but I LOVED Chingy so much! I can’t wait til I can get another one…but I’m waiting until I have the perfect set up, which will probably be when I get my own home.

I want a great dane so badly. Our local PetSmart manager owns a great dane and every time I go there I check to see if it’s in the grooming center. I’ve always loved big dogs the best and this dog is so amazing that I really want one. The problem is most places you rent won’t let you have a cat, let alone a mamath dog. So I may have to wait until I get my own house…
