I was very surprised to find out that there is a YMCA not to far from where I work that has an awesome wall climbing area. I learned this from my friend who randomly asked me not long afterwards if i’d like to come with and check it out. She even knew someone who works there who hooked us up, and so I got to try it for free! It was tiring and I realized I have little upper body strength but it was fun and I’m planning on taking my boyfriend next time :)

Did this on a PGL School trip in Year 7. and loved every minute of it. Was about the height of a 2 or 3 storey building.

im so excited about this goal :D
ive been wall climbing before but not for years, so i’ll really be learning from scratch but at least i know im going to enjoy it :D
ive heard the best place to go in Glasgow is here but they dont mention how much it cost to be trained… which makes me worry :)
anyway, ill be going even if i have to save all my pennies to get there and i’ll be zooming up those walls like im on Gladiators in no time
