How I did it: Working with Carnival cruise lines I was able to take my mom and her best friend on a 7 day cruise. Neither of them had ever been on a ship before nor out of the country. Being blessed and unselfish thinking allowed me to make this possible.

Lessons & tips: Remember to relax and let whom ever you being enjoy the cruise their way. But most importantly prepare yourself to really take things slow, its her vacation not yours.

    My mother calls me her “Worldly Child” meaning that I love the world and love to travel. My mom on the other hand will not go farther than the US LOL….So my 30th B-day (3yrs away) she told me that we can do a cruise and I am going to hold her to that! I want to do something exotic she will never forget, and it will be a time for just me and her, and we are both very-VERY silly and crazy…on a boat…those poor people …bwhahahaha!!!

    I really just want a extra special memory as an adult with my mom :) We have come so far…. So 3yrs to save, so I can pay for both…getting her a passport will be a challenge, she procrastinates!!
