lose 5 pounds by Xmas

not gonna happen. :-(

Decided my goal of losing 20 pounds was too daunting, so I’m breaking it down into a smaller goal—losing five pounds by Christmas. Doesn’t sound like much, but with Halloween candy and Thanksgiving turkey/stuffing/pie on the horizon, this will be hard. If I can set and achieve smaller goals like this, then maybe I’ll eventually reach my overall goal.

So far, I’ve lost a whopping 2 pounds on my way to my goal of losing 20 pounds. I’d say that’s pretty crappy progress! Must…stop…eating…
