I’d known for years that I wanted a bluebonnet tattoo, I just wasn’t sure HOW I wanted it, exactly. I came up with a ring around my ankle but, after consulting with my artist (vince crowley @ bombshell in houston), he helped design something that would be feasible and still look how I wanted it to look. The picture only shows 1/3 of the tattoo…there are 3 of those going around my ankle.
It ended up being a lot bigger than I’d imagined, but I love it. My dad flipped out, but it’s me. I’m the furthest thing from a girly-girl, so flowers wouldn’t normally be my first choice, but I’m a Texas girl and nothing is more Texan than bluebonnets.
Vince did a great job and I still love my newest tattoo. I’m already designing my next one!
