stick my feet in the pacific ocean

as I was walking towards the ocean. As my feet touch the water, the video camera goes upside down and starts shaking violently…this was me; running frantically from the water back to the beach. I had absolutely no idea it was going to be THAT cold. But it was well worth it!!!

i think most people have always wanted a good adventure, a spontanious one. someday i want to get in the car, throw in some clothes grab my best friend and drive, non- stop to pacific coast, and stick my feet in it. just to say i did it. i’de LOVE to travel, EVERYWHERE!

08/27/05. en route to burning man with friend. stopped at muir beach at dusk. wore skirt over bathing suit in lame attempt to fend off cold air. ran like mad past the fire pits and the confused sweatshirt-clad beachgoers. leapt and splashed and nearly froze my toes off. got lots of “what is that crazy girl doing?” looks. got sand up to my knees on the walk back to the car. conclusion: lots of fun, but would rather have done it on a warmer day and for a longer period of time.
